[Stories] List of Berlin Policemen’s fon numbers leaked

It seems like Germany is about to overlap our British fellows. The union of the Berlin Police (GdP) had to admit yesterday that a list of Policemen’s cell fon numbers has been leaked to the internet. Besides fon numbers of normal policemen the list also includes numbers of executives working in special task forces. It now is suspected criminals may use cell phone locating techniques to find out the where-abouts of specific executives. Policemen are prompted to change their number as soon as possible.

Whenever you visit Berlin and you like independent Techno and Electro, we got a nice hint for you. You gotta see the Cassiopeia in the Friedrichshain district. As a matter of chance our team went to the Cassiopeia place yesterday and enjoyed accidently an event named “Reclaim the Beats“.

Reclaim the Beats

To make things shorts as possible. That were by far the most intelligent sounds we’ve heard for a long time. The guys playing the records on the floor under the roof were almost half as young as we am, but we take a bow in deepest respect. You guys definitly have shown a unique taste for sounds. Reclaim the Beats is the only adequate wording for that event. We’d recommend to simply call it DIT (Demanding intelligent Techno). Information and dates of Reclaim the Beats to be found here.

Cassiopeia

The Cassiopeia is fairly unique in Berlin. It’s got three club locations, and indoor skate park, a beer garden, probably the largest climbing tower in Berlin and many more things to discover. The price of a Caipirinha is at 5€. More information to be found here…

[Soccer] Public Viewing EM 2008 in Berlin

Ähnlich wie zur WM 2006 werden auch zur EM wieder große Public Viewing Veranstaltungen stattfinden, neben dem, was in den Bars und Cafés in den einzelnen Stadtteilen angeboten wird. Wer also lieber gemütlich sitzen möchte, sollte vielleicht doch lieber in seinem Kiez bleiben…

[Berlin] iTunes Konzerte in Berlin im Radialsystem V

Die Konzertreihe (26.04. – 10.05.2008), die im vergangen Jahr in London stattfand, kommt nun nach Berlin. Karten kann man jedoch nicht kaufen, sondern nur gewinnen oder ersteigern und aber dafür immer gleich zwei Stück. Es gibt für jeden Tag 500 Plätze. Stattfinden wird das Konzert im Radialsystem V in Friedrichshain (Holzmarktstr. 33, 10243 Bln).
